About Us

Weddings2Go is based in Ashbourne, Derbyshire and is the internet arm of Weddings by Victoria Brookes. Every bride is a special bride to us and our aim is for you to feel fabulous on your wedding day. We hope, in however small a way, that we can help to make your wedding one to remember. We pride ourselves in providing excellent service and will always endeavour to go the extra mile to deliver to our Brides.

The telephone is manned Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 - 16:00. Outside of these hours the phone may be answered but if not, messages are picked up regularly and responded to as soon as possible.

Our aim is to respond to e-mail & telephone enquiries within 48hrs whether we can help or not. If your enquiry is urgent please say so and we will endeavour to respond appropriately.

Shipping Charges

Shipping is charged at £4.00 for standard delivery or £6.00 for Next Day Delivery on all items other than favours which depends on weight and is confirmed at the order details page. Currently, on all shoes, the standard £4.00 delivery charge is included in the shoe price you see, UK orders only. This will be detailed on the invoice sent with the shoes and is non refundable if shoes are returned. For example, a pair of Paradise shoes is priced at £47.95, which currently includes £4.00 for delivery. If these shoes are returned the cost of the shoes only is refunded, which is £43.95 (£47.95 less £4.00 delivery charge)

Payment

We are able to accept payment by cheque, bank transfer, PayPal and Protx credit card either online or via telephone.

After you have placed your order and it has been verified you will receive an email to confirm your order details. We will then contact you via email with regards to product availability and payment details if relevant (see terms and conditions for full details).

Shoe Size Exchange

If you wish to exchange shoes for an alternative size, we will do so at no extra cost to you, other than the cost of returning the original shoes to us.

If you wish to exchange for a different style, we are happy to do so. If the price of the replacement shoes is less than the originals, we will refund the difference and if the price of the replacement shoes is more than the originals we will arrange for you to pay the difference.

Please e-mail us at returns@weddings2go.co.uk to notify us of your intent to exchange your shoes, including your name and details of the shoes to be returned and the style & size of the replacement shoes.

Returns

You must tell us by e-mail that you wish to return your goods within 3 days of your receipt of the goods. Please e-mail us at returns@weddings2go.co.uk. Your e-mail should include your name, order date and items to be returned.

Please note that bespoke items, such as dyed shoes and tiaras, cannot be returned.

The Goods must then be returned to us at Weddings2Go with both the goods and all packaging must be in their original condition; they must be securely wrapped and include our delivery slip and any fabric swatches or spare adornments.

All goods are returned at your own risk. It is therefore advised that Recorded or Special Delivery is used to provide you with proof of delivery and the appropriate level of insurance. The customer bears the cost of return postage.

Please note that returns received within 15 days from depatch are covered by the Distance Selling Act and will be refunded in full (apart from shipping charges). Unlike most other internet based companies, we do allow returns after this time, but any items returned more than 15 days from despatch by us attract a handling charge of £6.00 per item. In addition, any items received back in a poor condition will incur further charges dependant on the item's condition.

After we have received the Goods and confirmed that they are in an acceptable condition, we will refund you, either via your credit / debit card or by Cheque, with the full purchase price of the returned goods, less the current handling charge if applicable, no later than 30 days from the date of receipt.

Delivery

Delivery timescales differ by product:

Bridal Shoes, favours, gloves, ring cushions, jewellery, stoles and garters are generally stock items and are usually despatched within 7 working days of receipt of your payment. Delivery then takes up to 3 working days.

Royal Mail Special Delivery guarantees delivery by 13:00 the next working day after despatch. However, choosing this option does not mean that the item will be despatched the same day the order is placed. Despatch will still be within 7 days, although orders using the Special Delivery option will be dealt with as a priority.

Custom Dyed shoes take between 10 and 28 days, dependent on demand, from receipt of payment and Dying Order Form. To confirm the current leadtime, please e-mail us at enquiries@weddings2go.co.uk.

Tiaras are all handmade to order and usually delivery is 6-8 weeks from receipt of payment. We do hold small stocks of the standard designs and may therefore have your chosen design available for immediate delivery on receipt of payment. If we do not currently have one in stock a rush order may be accepted dependent on current workload. If you are interested in a less than 6 weeks delivery please contact us by e-mail at sales@weddings2go.co.uk.

If Items are out of stock, and will not be available within the timeframes indicated above, you will be given the option to cancel the order.

Custom Dyed Shoes and Handbags

Custom Dyed shoes take between 10 and 28 days, dependent on demand, from receipt of payment and Dying Order Form. To confirm the current leadtime, please e-mail us at enquiries@weddings2go.co.uk.

If you do not have a piece of fabric available to send for colour matching, we suggest sending a paint swatch and we will then colour match to that.

If you require multiple pairs of shoes dyeing, it is advisable to have them all dyed together to enable the same batch of dye to be used on them all, as dye batches may differ slightly.

Custom Dyed shoes cannot be returned. We have therefore provided the "Try B4 U Dye" option, which allows you to check the shoes' fit prior to having the shoes dyed. Please note, the cost of returning the shoes to us once you have tried for size, is borne by the customer.
